Transportation in Global Communities
Geography (where we live) even affects how we move from place to place! We live in a city with millions of people in a very small area. Therefore, we have access to many forms of public transportation (MTR, Bus, Tram, etc.). If you were living in a rural area, you could not ride the MTR as there would not be enough people to make building a subway possible. If we lived in a cold environment, like Arctic Canada, walking long distances would not be safe as you could freeze to death. However, in a warm environment, like Zimbabwe, walking is one of the main forms of transportation for people. Download the PowerPoint below to review or investigate further.
